Awaaz Punjab Di
Building resilient communities through compassionate flood relief and innovative disaster preparedness across Punjab
Transforming Lives Through Compassionate Action
Our Story
Awaaz Punjab Di was born from the devastating floods of 2018 that swept across Punjab, leaving thousands homeless and communities shattered. What began as a grassroots effort by local volunteers has evolved into one of Punjab's most trusted disaster relief organizations.
Our founder, Dr. Rajinder Singh, witnessed firsthand the inadequate response to the 2018 floods in his hometown of Jalandhar. Families were stranded without food, clean water, or medical care for days. This experience ignited a passion to create a organization that could respond swiftly and effectively to such disasters.
Today, we stand as a beacon of hope for flood-affected communities, with a network of trained volunteers, state-of-the-art equipment, and partnerships with government agencies and international organizations. Our approach combines immediate emergency response with long-term community resilience building.
